My journey to helping SaaS founders maximize their exits started in an unlikely place—as a crimes against children detective. Those years taught me something invaluable: how to uncover what others miss. Today, I use those same investigative skills to help founders identify hidden value in their SaaS businesses and spot risks before buyers do.
I’ve sat on every side of the SaaS acquisition table. After selling my first SaaS business to a private equity fund in 2017, they hired me to run operations—not just for my company, but eventually for their entire portfolio. For years, I led both buy-side and sell-side processes, conducting deep due diligence, managing acquisitions, and optimizing operations to maximize exit values. This unique position gave me an insider’s view of exactly what sophisticated buyers look for, how they evaluate businesses, and most importantly, what drives premium valuations.
But I’m not just an advisor—I’m an active operator in the trenches. Today, I own and operate multiple SaaS businesses including GrooveJar and TraitX, while holding a minority stake in Revy, a successful Shopify marketplace app. I’m also the co-founder of xFusion, which we launched in 2020 and has grown to 70 employees, providing operational support to dozens of growing SaaS companies. While I’ve stepped back from daily operations at xFusion, my continued ownership and involvement—combined with my active SaaS portfolio—keeps my advice practical and current.
I’ve also hosted The Fuse Show podcast, interviewing over 200 SaaS founders about their growth and exit journeys, and been featured in SaaS Mag and various industry publications.
